Street Closings
You must arrive at the race site before 8:00 a.m., since the streets leading to the area will be closed at 8:00 a.m. to insure a prompt race start at 8:30 a.m.
Driving Directions
From Baltimore
Take I-95 south to the Washington Beltway (I-495) going West towards Bethesda. Take I-270 north. Follow the instructions below.
From Washington, DC and Virginia
Take the Capital Beltway (I-495) to I-270 north. Follow the instructions below.
From Frederick
Take I-270 south. Follow the instructions below.
To Packet Pickup
From I-270, take the Montrose Road (Exit 4) East exit. Go east on Montrose, crossing Rockville Pike (MD-355), and turn right on Parklawn Drive. RnJ Sports Discounters is on your right at 11910R Parklawn Drive (Second Floor). Telephone: (301) 881-0021
To the Race Site
From I-270 take Shady Grove Road (Exit 8) East, approximately 1/2 mile, and turn right on Gaither Road. Follow Gaither approximately 1/2 mile to 2nd traffic light and make a right on to King Farm Blvd. Follow signs to parking.
Via METRO (Red Line)
As the METRO opens at 7:00 am on Sundays, it is theoretically possible to ride METRO to the race -- but check the schedule to be sure! The King Farm Village Center is five blocks west of the Shady Grove station.
