6:45 p.m. - Non-competitive 1/4 mile Kid's Fun Run Start
7:00 p.m. - Mile Heats Begin
Multiple Heats
There will be approximately 8 heats, starting with the slowest runners and progressing to the fastest runners. Runners of all ages and paces are welcome to participate!
Heat 1 will start promptly at 7:00 PM followed by the other heats in sequential order. Lights will be turned on for the later heats. The heats tentatively will consist of the following runners:
Heat 1 - Expected finish times greater than 10:00 2:30 per quarter and slower Heat 2 - Expected finish times greater than 9:00 up to 10:00 2:15 to 2:30 per quarter Heat 3 - Expected finish times greater than 8:00 up to 9:00 2:00 to 2:15 per quarter Heat 4 - Expected finish times greater than 7:00 up to 8:00 1:45 to 2:00 per quarter Heat 5 - Expected finish times greater than 6:00 up to 7:00 1:30 to 1:45 per quarter Heat 6 - Expected finish times greater than 5:30 up to 6:00
* Females competing for Overall Female Award must compete in this heat. 1:22 to 1:30 per quarter Heat 7 - Expected finish times greater than 5:00 up to 5:30 1:15 to 1:22 per quarter Heat 8 - Expected finish times of 5:00 or less
* Males competing for Overall Male Award must compete in this heat. 1:15 per quarter and faster

Montgomery County Road Runners Club and the Gaithersburg Firebirds Youth Track Club.

Kid's Fun Run
A 1/4 mile non-competitive, untimed children's Fun Run will begin at 6:45 PM.

From Route 270 - Exit 11 at Montgomery Village Ave East; Turn Left onto Stedwick Rd; Take first Right onto Watkins Mill Rd; Turn Left onto Apple Ridge Rd; Watkins Mill High School is on the right at 10301 Apple Ridge Rd, Gaithersburg.
